Gregory Lent
Gregory Lent is an American-born artist who has lived in many parts of Asia, including Shanghai and South India—regions that have deeply influenced his work. A self-taught artist, he creates wall pieces and sculptures from found materials, gold leaf, enamel, gemstones, and mirror. His work has been exhibited in galleries in India and collected internationally.

Evolution
From a childhood fascination with colour to years of travel and creative exploration, my path has been shaped by observation, curiosity, and a search for meaning. Life in India has deepened my awareness of inner processes, leading to a personal visual language that endeavours to connect with the inner essence of the viewer or collector.

Vision
I often create with a sense of where the work is heading, operating from intention in the midst of making. My aim is to shape pieces that enliven the space they inhabit and, in turn, enrich both the inner and outer quality of people’s lives — gently reminding them of their own inner nature.

Works
Wall pieces and sculptures built from wood, gold leaf, mirror, enamel, gemstones, and salvaged materials. The forms emerge through a dialogue of texture, colour, and structure, often suggesting patterns or archetypes that speak beyond the purely visual.
